1851 GRIFFITH'S VALUATION

We found an actual copy of the 1851 Griffith's Valuation in the Thurles Library! The Valuation was set up 
150 years ago to value property for the purpose of local taxation. Photocopies of pages in the books or of 
valuation maps are available for 50 pence per page, and 5 pounds per map. You may visit the office in person, 
or make requests by mail.
